Synodal Commission for Religious Meeting

The Synodal Commission for Religious convened its meeting on 17th December at the Catholicate Centre. The session was presided over by His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Mor Irenios, Bishop of Pathanamthitta and Chairperson of the Synodal Commission for Religious.

The meeting reviewed the activities of the Commission and discussed initiatives aimed at strengthening the role of religious communities in the Church’s mission. The arrangements for the meeting were coordinated by the Commission Secretary, Rev. Fr. Dr. Geevarghese Kuttiyil O.I.C. In attendance was Rev. Fr. Cyril Anand Moroth O.I.C., the Bethany Navajeevan Provincial Superior.

This gathering brought together clergy and representatives, reaffirming the Synodal Commission’s commitment to fostering unity, spiritual growth, and service among religious members within the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church.
