The Holy Spirit Sisters community mourns the loss of Sr. Mary Rose HSS, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 66. Born on May 2, 1958, Sr. Mary Rose committed her life to the service of God with her profession of faith on April 14, 1983.
Having served as a Provincial Superior, Sr. Mary Rose was a pillar of strength and a guiding light in the Holy Spirit Sisters congregation. Her commitment to her vocation and her leadership were an inspiration to many within the community.
The funeral service is set to take place on January 8, 2024, at the Thukalassery Holy Spirit Chapel, Thiruvalla. The community will gather to bid farewell to a beloved sister in Christ. The ceremony will be presided over by Archbishop Dr. Thomas Mar Koorilos, who will lead the final rites for Sr. Mary Rose HSS, celebrating her life and her contributions to the church and its faithful.
The Holy Spirit Sisters request the presence of friends, family, and community members to join in prayer and remembrance of Sr. Mary Rose, as she is laid to rest. Her life’s work and devotion will continue to resonate within the hearts of those she touched.
