Rev. Sr Monica SIC was called to eternal rest

Rev. Sr Monica SIC (87), a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Imitation of Christ, Tiruvalla Province, was called to eternal rest on 9 May 2016. She belonged to Mallappally, Vattasseril family.

She served as the Provincial Superior, Provincial Councilor, Novice Mistress, Superior of different Convents of the Bethany, Tiruvalla Province. Her dedicated religious life, especially as a teacher, and her love for the fellow beings gave great insight and example to the younger generation. The funeral service will be held at Thirumoolapuram Bethany Convent on 11 May, 2016 at 10 am. His Excellency Most Rev. Dr Abraham Mar Julios and His Excellency Most Rev. Dr Philipose Mar Stephanos will officiate the funeral service.
