Rev. Sr. Leena DM, 80, of St. Joseph’s Province, Marthandam, Passes Away

Marthandam, 2nd October 2024 – Rev. Sr. Leena DM, a long-serving member of the Daughters of Mary, St. Joseph’s Province, Marthandam, passed away on 2nd October 2024 at the age of 80. Sr. Leena joined the religious order in 1965 and dedicated nearly six decades of her life to the service of the Church and her congregation.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, 3rd October 2024, at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph’s Provincial Cemetery, Marthandam. The service will be officiated by His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Vincent Mar Paulos, Bishop of Marthandam.

The community has requested prayers for the repose of her soul, as Sr. Leena is remembered for her lifelong dedication and unwavering commitment to the mission of the Daughters of Mary.
