New MCYM Executive Committee Assumes Charge in Thiruvananthapuram Major Archdiocese

Thiruvananthapuram: The Malankara Catholic Youth Movement (MCYM) of the Thiruvananthapuram Major Archdiocese has officially welcomed its new executive committee. The solemn oath-taking ceremony was held at the Pattom Aramana Chapel, in the presence of His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos, the head of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church.

During the ceremony, the new committee members took their oath of office, taking over responsibilities from the 2022-2023 executive committee. His Eminence Cardinal Baselios Cleemis Catholicos, Major Archbishop of the Archdiocese, presided over the event, marking a new chapter for the MCYM under his spiritual guidance.

Other dignitaries present at the event included the Very Rev. Thomas Kayyalackal, the Vicar General in charge of Missionary Offices, Rev. Fr. Joseph, the Director, Rev. Fr. Aloysius, the Assistant Director, and Sister Divya Jose D.M., the Animator. The ceremony was attended by various members of the clergy, religious sisters, and lay faithful of the Archdiocese.

The Thiruvananthapuram Major Archdiocese expressed its heartfelt blessings and best wishes to the new executive committee. The event signifies the continuous commitment of the Archdiocese to nurture and guide the youth in their faith journey.
