Golden Sacerdotal Jubilee of Rt. Rev. Msgr. Peter Kochery Corepiscopo

On Sunday, October 25, 2020, St. Thomas Syro-Malankara Catholic Parish of New Jersey celebrated Rt. Rev. Msgr. Peter Kochery Cor-episcopo’s Golden Sacerdotal Jubilee. Cor-episcopo celebrated the solemn Holy Qurbono. Shortly after the Holy Qurbono a brief felicitation program with His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Philipos Mar Stephanos, Associate Pastor Rev. Jobin Thomas and a small group of parishioners present. Cor-episcopo’s family in India, Canada, New Zealand and other parts of the globe, and remaining parishioners were able to view the Holy Qurbono and program live on parish YouTube channel. During the program, Stephanos Thirumeni delivered the keynote address and presented the jubilarian a ponnada and an Apostolic Blessing from Holy Father Pope Francis to our beloved Peter Achen. Rev. Sr. Jocelyn Edathil S.I.C., Parish Secretary Mr. John P. Varghese, Parish Treasurer Mr. Ansel Vijayan and Parish Council Member Mr. Saji Keekkadan all felicitated the Cor-episcopo.
