Thiruvananthapuram – Br. Chris Mangattil and Br. Robin Valiyavilayil received their clerical vestments from His Eminent Beatitude Cardinal Moran Mor Baselios Cleemis Catholicos, marking their formal entry into the clerical state. The ceremony took place in the presence of His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Mathews Mor Polycarpos, Auxiliary Bishop of the Major Archieparchy of Trivandrum, along with priests and faithful who gathered in prayer.
Commitment to the Church
The cassock, a sign of dedication and service, represents their readiness to embrace the responsibilities of priestly formation. It is a moment of promise, as they prepare to serve Christ and His people.
The occasion was witnessed by the Vicar Generals of the Major Archieparchy, Rev. Fr. Sheen Palakkuzhy, Rector of the Minor Seminary, and priests who have guided them through their formation.
